MODELING WORKSHOP
We regularly cast models for TV fashion segments at KING 5 New Day Northwest, KING 5 Evening, KCPQ FOX 13 Morning News and live fashion presentations and runway shows for Macy's, Pacific Place, Westfield Southcenter, Alderwood Mall, and more. We strive to provide modeling opportunities to men and women of all ages and sizes so that our segments are inclusive and appealing to large, diverse audiences. We welcome aspiring models with little or no previous experience to our fun quarterly "model bootcamp" to learn the skills necessary to appear in our projects.
Our 3 hour workshop includes:
-
Complete rehearsal of a mock TV segment, including blocking, posing instructions, cues, and direction.
-
Detailed explanation of Dos and Dont's of modeling for TV. How to avoid unintentional mistakes that could get you fired.
-
Rundown of verbiage, lingo and terminology used by stylists, directors and producers.
-
Exact instructions on how to behave, what NOT to say/do, and how to make the most of your opportunity on TV.
-
Demo of the proper way to remove clothing without getting make-up on clothes.
-
What's in a Model Kit, including shoes and undergarments you are expected to bring with you to every job, recommended deodorant, lotion, etc. used by models that does not ruin clothing.
-
1 hour make-up lesson with Beauty Expert who will demo answers to the following questions: What is proper Bare Face?, What is proper "Professional TV make-up"?, How to properly cover a blemish?, What is HD Powder?
